My Pixel-melt engine for Resolume lets you choose between trigger or latch/hold. Use the Style selector to switch from thin pixel-sorting strips to organic, paint-like melts. Adjust motion with time-stretching, and use Fade to control smearing—from clean streaks to quad blocks to organic flow. You can modulate controls and styles while the effect is locked, and adjust the affected area; all changes feed back through the chain to create a constantly shifting, evolving waterfall of melted pixels.
